Here are the toots from my Mastodon account. If you’re into ham radio and technology this is a great inclusive server with an awesome mascot called Alex.

It's Alex! A soft brown mastodon holding a handheld radio in their right hand and carrying a blue bag over their shoulder

Got my Home Assistant Yellow kit, which of course I ordered before I realised it’s basically impossible to get Raspberry Pi compute modules.

Still, will eventually be fun! Details at https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2021/09/13/home-assistant-yellow/

The Maverick-603 is live on crowd supply and looks pretty interesting.

The first affordable, FT8 receiver with an open source RF chip designed and fabricated using open source chip tools

I’m looking forward to seeing more details in further updates, there’s not a lot about their custom chip yet.

Great to see such a big influx of users!

I saw the site mentioned on Amateur Radio Weekly https://hamweekly.com/archive/issues/amateur-radio-weekly-issue-259.html and wondered what the effect might be

📢 WSJT-X 2.6.0-rc4 was released on 2022-09-07 and provides further improvements to Echo

mode, a new File menu item, and several bug fixes.

I looks like people are having a bit of trouble with some debs and there’s no macOS installer yet.

Update! my last toot should have said rc3, not 2. Blame the lack of sleep! Thanks @yvan for pointing this out.
